General Program Goals:To provide postgraduate training in neonatology-perinatal medicine for Board Certified or Board Eligible pediatricians committed to a career in neonatology. Although preference is given to those individuals preparing for academic careers, highly qualified individuals with other career goals are accepted. Progress towards subspecialty certification in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine is expected by engaging in the clinical and research programs provided by the division. Specific Program Goals:Focus on background and experience in clinical skills, teaching competence, research methods, and administrative aspects of newborn intensive care tailored to meet the individual goals of each trainee.
